A build is weapon + ammunition + useful parts Build pages should connect the weapon to a real task and budget. Attachment compatibility and performance claims remain build-sensitive.

Weapon builds are primarily an attachment and ammunition configuration question. The current research confirms those systems exist, but it does not contain a complete attachment-effect table, so this guide stays focused on build methodology rather than fabricated recoil or damage claims.

Scope note: Season 1 / Patch 0.11 sources name specific attachments and AP ammunition, but do not provide enough normalized values to publish a universal build recipe for every gun.

Start with the weapon’s job

Choose the engagement role first: close-range pressure, general infantry use, or a more specialized task. Add attachments only when their verified effect supports that job; do not assume an attachment is beneficial merely because it exists.

Ammunition is part of the build

Official material names 7.62x54mm AP and 5.56mm AP ammunition. That establishes AP ammunition as a real build consideration, but this snapshot does not claim unsupported penetration values or damage multipliers.

Build data still required

A full build database needs current attachment effects, compatible-weapon relationships, prices and unlock requirements. Those fields should enter the SSOT before this page publishes per-weapon presets.

Range changes the build
Range changes the build Weapon choice, optics, ammunition and the expected terrain should be read together.

Build around the route

A useful weapon build begins with where the next life is going. A Control Zone interior push, long valley approach, vehicle-defense role and FOB support route can justify very different weapon and utility choices.

Build budget checklist

LayerQuestion
PrimaryDoes the weapon fit the expected distance?
AmmunitionIs the correct ammo relationship confirmed?
PartsAre the attachments actually captured as compatible?
ProtectionDid the weapon purchase crowd out survivability?
UtilityDoes the kit still perform the role you picked?

Treat attachment trees and exact performance as version-sensitive unless they are captured for the current build.
